Overview

BrickedUp uses account, inventory, pricing, marketplace-link, scanner, and optional create/build data only to provide collection tracking, valuation, rankings, and related app features.

Data We Use

Google sign-in identity to authenticate your account.
Inventory and collection activity to calculate owned sets, parts, minifigures, rankings, and value totals.
Camera scans only when you choose to scan a barcode.
Billing and subscription status to verify paid-feature access.
Optional create/build prompts, optional reference or source images, generated preview assets, saved build metadata, and export metadata where those features are enabled.
Marketplace pricing, listing, click, and affiliate-link metadata when eBay-powered pricing, rankings, or marketplace-link features are used.
Limited crash diagnostics such as app version, device model, and sanitized stack traces when crash reporting is enabled.

How Create and Build Data Is Handled

Legacy full builder generation is retired in the production app backend while BrickedUp focuses on collection tracking, pricing, and valuation. If optional create/build features are available in your app version, prompts and selected reference or source images may be processed server-side to generate previews or build artifacts. Short-lived reference images and generated preview concept images are stored in private cloud storage for up to 30 minutes when that workflow is enabled. Derived preview, plan record and related build metadata, export, and quality-control artifacts may be retained with your account so you can reopen saved results or regenerate exports while the feature remains available. Temporary export and quality-control artifacts are retained for up to 7 days and then deleted automatically where configured.

eBay Partner Network and Marketplace Links

BrickedUp participates in the eBay Partner Network as Brickedup, publisher ID 7242234. As an eBay Partner Network Affiliate, BrickedUp may earn from qualifying purchases.

BrickedUp uses approved eBay marketplace links and, only where eBay has granted the required access, eBay marketplace data for pricing and availability features. Restricted eBay pricing or sold-comps data is disabled unless BrickedUp has documented approval for that API and pricing-tool use. BrickedUp app demand rankings are based on BrickedUp app activity, not eBay site-wide demand or sales-volume data. When an eligible eBay link is shown or opened, BrickedUp may use approved eBay Partner Network links, promotional content, tools, and tracking codes. BrickedUp website pages may use eBay Smart Links to apply configured EPN tracking to normal eBay links. Native app links use backend-generated EPN tracking URLs and open only after a user deliberately taps the eBay link button. EPN tracking codes are used as provided and are not modified by BrickedUp. eBay reporting may be delayed and is not guaranteed to be real time.

eBay Partner Network compensation is based on eBay's tracking data and applies only to qualifying clicks, transactions, or other qualifying activity under the applicable program terms. For Buy It Now purchases, qualifying attribution generally requires the purchase to occur within 24 hours of the click; auction attribution may follow separate bid and win timelines. BrickedUp uses EPN data only for permitted affiliate, pricing, ranking, and compliance purposes.

BrickedUp does not collect or store eBay usernames, passwords, or seller account credentials; does not use eBay content or personal information to train AI models; does not use eBay data to set or reprice eBay listings; and does not send unsolicited communications to eBay users. When eBay sold-comps data is approved and enabled, BrickedUp stores only minimized pricing aggregates needed for the collection value feature and redacts raw item-level result rows from app API responses.

If eBay or EPN tracking uses cookies, device identifiers, link identifiers, or similar technologies after you open an eBay link, that handling is controlled by eBay and your browser or device settings. BrickedUp does not operate an advertising SDK in the Android app, but marketplace links may open third-party eBay pages that apply their own privacy, cookie, and tracking policies.

What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal data.
We do not require photo gallery or storage permissions for optional image uploads.
We do not store sensitive app data in shared device storage.

Account Deletion

If you create an account, you can delete it in-app from Settings. Account deletion removes associated account, collector, valuation, and saved create/build data from the production backend. Web instructions are available at brickedup.app/account-deletion.
